This Annapurna trek starts from Nayapul from where you will pass through off the beaten trail with the views of bamboos and rhododendron forest and several flora and fauna that dwells this region. DAY 01

Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu

Arrive in Kathmandu. Meeting and assistance at the airport and transfer to the hotel.

DAY 02

Day 02: Full day tour in Kathmandu

Morning, sightseeing tour of Kathmandu Durbar Square and Swoyambhunath Stupa.

It is a place where the city’s Kings were crowned. Having been built and rebuilt over the generations, it is now the valley’s number one tourist attractions. Most of the temples you see here are a mere three or four centuries old. The entire square was designated as a World Heritage Monument in 1979. The Durbar Square is teeming with shrines and statues. Walk around Kumari Chowk which is a home of “living goddesses”, she comes to the balcony at the scheduled time to welcome the guests.

On the top of the hill west of Kathmandu value is one of the popular and instantly recognizable symbols of Nepal. It is also referred to as “Monkey Temple” by many tourists because of the large tribes of monkeys that guards the hill. Legends say after the Bodhisattva Manjushri drained the water from the lake revealing the Kathmandu valley, the lotus one the island of the lake was transformed into the hillock, and the blazing light from the lotus became the statue.

Afternoon, sightseeing tour of Patan Durbar Square.

Patan also known as Lalitpur is the second largest city inside the valley. Patan has a long Buddhist influence and the four corners of the city are marked by Stupas said to have been created by great Buddhist emperor around 250 BC. Durbar Square forms the heart of Patan. The Durbar Square is closely packed with temples, and with far more concentration of architecture then anywhere around the valley.

DAY 03

Day 03: After breakfast, drive to Pokhara Valley

After breakfast, drive to the scenic Pokhara Valley (205 kms/6 hrs drive) through a scenic mountainous highway.

Pokhara is the most popular destination in Nepal. It is also referred as city of lakes and mountains. It is also the gateway to one of the best trekking location in the world. Approx. 200 kms from Kathmandu Pokhara enjoys a mild climate, clean air, reflection of snowcapped mountains on the sheltered lake. Its relaxed atmosphere is pleasantly removed from the hectic hustle and bustle of Kathmandu. Lakeside Pokhara is a traveller’s oasis. The tourist area of lakeside, stretched out along the southeast shore of the valley’s largest lake. Lakeside has its own charm especially in the evenings when darkness hides the clutter and shops are lit up like a Christmas trees. Foothills separate Pokhara from Himalayas.

Upon arrival in Pokhara transfer to the hotel. Evening, stroll around Phewa lake. Overnight at the hotel in Pokhara.

DAY 04

Day 04: Drive to Nayapul commence your trek to Ghandrung (1,940m)

After breakfast drive to Nayapul (1 hrs drive from Pokhara). Commence trek to Ghandrung (5 hrs walk). From Nayapul the trail pushes up the steep, terraced west bank of Modi Khola. Then you continue to climb major settlement of Ghandrung .

Dinner and overnight at the local guest house or tea house in Ghandrung.

DAY 05

Day 05: Trek from Ghandrung to Tadapani (2,630m)

Today trek from Ghandrung to Tadapani (4 hrs walk).

From Ghandrung the trail detours west to the crest of the fine Komrong Danda (2654m), walking through beautiful Rhododendron forest, with great views of Mount Dhaulagiri and Mount Machapuchare (Fishtail).

Dinner and overnight at the local guest house or tea house in Tadapani.

DAY 06

Day 06: Trek from Tadapani to Ghorepani (2,860m)

Today trek from Tadapani to Ghorepani (6 hrs walk).

From Tadapani the trail climbs on muddy path through deep forest, with good mountain views including a view of mount Fishtail and a panorama all the way south to the plains of India.

Dinner and overnight at the local guest house or tea house in Ghorepani.

DAY 07

Day 07: Early morning, hike to Poonhill (3, 210m). Later trek down to Tirkedhunga

Early morning, hike to Poonhill, one hour climb above, is reputed to have some of the finest mountain views of Nepal. This hike is steep uphill through the stair. Later, trek down to Tirkhedhunga (6 hrs walk).

Dinner and overnight at the local guest house or tea house in Tirkhedhunga.

DAY 08

Day 08: Trek from Tirkhedhunga to Nayapul and drive back to Pokhara

Today, descend gently down to the banks of the Bhurgundi River and followed the trail along the river to Birethanti and then Nayapul. After having a quick lunch, drive back to Pokhara. Upon arrival in Pokhara, transfer to the hotel.

Overnight at the hotel in Pokhara.

DAY 09

Day 09: After breakfast, fly back to Kathmandu (25 min)

After breakfast, transfer to the domestic airport in Pokhara and fly back to Kathmandu (25 min). Upon arrival in Kathmandu, transfer to the hotel. Rest of the day is free.

Overnight at the hotel in Kathmandu.

DAY 10

Day 10: Departure transfer

Free till departure. Transfer back to the international airport at time to connect your onward flight
